the Cow House
Also known as “the Cow House” The Hazeldean Valley Mountain Biking and Trail Running Trails are ideally situated right on the doorstep of Pretoria East, riding distance from Silverlakes and surrounds.
The trails are well designed such that everyone can enjoy them from beginners to pros. There are around 60 km of well-designed single track to be enjoyed. Routes are marked with coloured arrows with pink being the shortest and easiest and black being the longest and most challenging, with everything in-between. There are three main loops all starting and finishing close the the Cowhouse. You can do one loop or link them together: Bushveld loop, Farmland loop and River section. The river section is the most scenic but also the most challenging and we recommend caution.
Along the routes are the occasional technical feature for advanced riders with a chicken run option for beginners.
